I have a 2005 Wrangler X with a 4.0 automatic. I cranked it, it starting idoling rough soon as it fired up. Popped gas line off and it wasn't pumping up from the tank. Replaced the crankshaft position sensor because it was a cheap easy guess, nothing changed. Replaced fuel pump, still isn't pumping. Replays are good also. Will fire up with starting fluid but only long enough to burn the fluid off then dies again. Any ideas? Idk what else to check.

gets expensive just throwing parts at a problem.

Jeeps are pretty easy to troubleshoot -
1) Scan or codes. post all codes
2) Check Fuel pump fuse and relay. Underhood PDC - fuse #23 and relay

NOTEs
Hopefully there is NO remote starter a POS very problematic.
Get and Use a fuel pressure gauge,
Always get sensors from jeep

Where or what brand crank position sensor? Some are bad out of the box and will not initiate the fuel pump without a working Crank sensor.
