1978 cj7 steering wander

I have a untouch barn find 1978 cj7 golden eagle not lifted

I have replaced the leaf springs new bushing new gas kyb shocks
Tie rod and using street tires.

Please how do I stop the steering wander especially on curvy roads

I have a 79 cj7 and I just replaced shocks and also the steering stabilizer. The stabilizer on mine was trashed and it made a big difference, i had lots of play until I put the new one on. Just a suggestion.

@ Tbone711 and Cmsjaffe. Steering stabilizers are to take the snap out of steering when you hit a big bump or pothole. You could run without one. It will not fix wander or bump steer or DW.
Im cheep and wouldn’t spend my money on this to fix your issue.

As mentioned in another thread. Check alignment tir and caster.

Do a dry steer test and consider adding a steering box support.

Check your hub bearings. They could be worn, or the nuts could've backed off.
Also, if you have manual steering, you might need to adjust any slop out of that, as well.
You said that you replaced the tie rod. What about the steering link? Are the ends in good condition, or, are they worn?
