304 carb ques

Whats the best deal you guys know of on a replacement carb?? I did a rebuild on it but its just to worn out.

What kind of carb is it? Brand? 2bbl or 4bbl?

2bbl I think it is a 2100---looks to be the damn original one!

Are the throttle bushings worn out? Aside from that and the float getting soaked through with fuel (big problem in areas where alcohol is heavily blended in gas) I switched mine to brass from the black foam and adjusted the level slightly lower (because the alcohol lets the float sit lower since it's less dense than straight gasoline)

All the assembly for the mixture and everything are just shot I found this site and think I will use them

MC2100's are easily rebuilt, it is one of the easiest to do.

This is why we are all using them on the 4.2l I6.

Whatever you do, don't toss the old one if you decide to replace it. Good to have around for parts, or you could sell it to someone who needs it & doesn't mind the rebuild.
