Almost smogged...but not quite: carter vaccum ports+choke

The death of Hunter S. Thompson

If everything goes as planned, my jeep will be getting a smog pretest tomorrow and an official smog test after or the next day depending on how things go. Before I take in, though, I have a few questions: 1. My vaccum diagram shows 3 vaccum ports on the carb, while the carb has 4 vaccum ports. Looks like one of the three in the diagram is plugged. Any idea where which vaccum line attatches to on the carb? 2. The vaccum reserve with check valve thing that mounts below the battery...again the diagram does not specify which hose off of it is which (one big and one little) 3. The original electrical plugs for the sol-vac idle thing and the electric choke are missing...the previous owner taped a piece of masking tape labled "choke" to an orange wire coming out of the wiring harness by the firewall. Will I need to hook up these components to pass smog, and if so any ideas how?

I had that prob when I was dropping my motor back in. ended up hooking up what I could, and plugging what I couldnt. There is a wealth of info here -i searched it down it when I had that problem- Eventually I got a weber and got rid of all the air & vacuum lines
There is no sniff test in NH for my year, hopefully when I move to AZ Ill find someone I can "purchase" a sticker from. Or like you guys are thinking... Im screwed.
