AMC or Powertech Engine??

i was looking at the build sheet on my jeep that a guy sent to me from my VIN number. and it says that i got a buildsheet code - epe- 2.5L Powertech I4 engine.. but i thought that powertech only made the 2.4L. can someone clarify this for me? someone told me a while ago that the AMC is the better engine for mileage. plz dont tell me i have the power tech

i googled that site before i asked the question. this is what i need clarified. that site says that the powertech is the 2.4L and the AMC is the 2.5L. but the build sheet on my jeep says i has the 2.5L powertech engine.. but i thought the powertech was the 2.4L not the 2.5L. i know this seems confusing but i just want to know if i got the poweer tech or amc engine in my jeep

Isn't there a stamp on the engine or on a door/ hood sticker with the engine info? I have one under teh hood in the driver side area. Like opposite the battery tray area.
