Axle differance

Is there a width differance between the widetrac CJ axle to a widetrac YJ axle? If there is, can I smack on a wheel spacer to get the X-tra width? How about added stress on the bearings?

CJ widetrack=56"----YJ=60".....two inches per side. You should be able to find somebody out there who makes a 2" thick 5x5.5" to 5x4.5" adapter/spacer.

I thought you had a CJ. What are you planning on doing?

with the engine you said you were going to run (350 or...I can't remember the other) and 39" boggers, I would definatly get bigger axles. I wouldn't go smaller than something like a D60 in the rear and D44 in the front.
