ok so i just seen a commercial for that new Jeep comander. gotta tell ya. it is WAAYYYYYYY too yuppy for me. cripes at first look i thought it was an H3. i applaud Jeep for trying to cater to the rich prissis of the world, but i mean cripes. put it this way, the liberty just went up a couple of notches on my favorites list.

RE: Brake line flaring

Actually, it reminds me more of the old cherokee design taken up a notch. This reminds me more of a cross between the Land Rover and the Cherokee than the H3. And the features that it sports Land Rover has had for years. I would say that this is not for the person who wants to lift it & run 36" tires, but it looks very capable, being only slightly wider than the GC. I can't wait to see one on the trail. Check out the specs on the Jeep site, this is a very nice looking ride for the occasional 4 wheeler.

RE: Radiator Stop Leak

I agree with graewulf, it reminded me alot of the old cherokee design. If I had to have one ride to lug the kids around with all their crap, pull my boat, and still be able to do some moderate off roading when nessecary, I think its great. You all know 99% of these will only see off road when the school parking lot is full on parent teacher conference day and they have to park in the grass. But I applaud jeep for getting in that full size SUV that some of us might want.

i'm with graewulf and judge, reminds me of the cherokee. i see they're regretting dropping the good ole XJ from their line, BAD DECISION! I'll still take my cherokee over ANY libery or commander!

now that you mention it, it does resemble the XJ. im not saying its a bad rig, just thought id say its not my taste. I tell ya though, if i had kids I would concider that rig, but most likely it would be a subaru.

RE: TJ Springs

I like the looks of it. The wife needs a replacement for the Explorer soon and we may go check 'em out. It's hard to find something that I can fit in being 6'6" and all.
