Electrical short somewhere

Driving home last night jammin some tunes. Then all of the sudden nothin. Instrument cluster goes down (lights on but all gauges read 0) no radio and no interior light. Checked the fuses, all good. Don't know where to check next. I smelled a little bit of burning like a belt burning up. ?????

I don't know anything about electrical systems.

#17 IOD fuse keeps burning up as sooon as i replace it. It's located in the relay box.

Got it!!! It's my stereo. Why would my stereo blow the fuse after I've I had my same set up for a year now. Wierd. As soon as I plug in the stereo the IOD fuse blows everytime. I've replaced it like 15 times.

Electronic accessories like radios, CD players, speakers, amps, etc., do wear out from time to time, and it sounds as though that's what's happened to you. You may have a short in a speaker wire (not as likely to cause this problem unless run through an amp), but most likely, you either have a short in your main hotwire, or something internally shorted out.
