Motobilt Jeep JK Rear Bolt On D Ring Mounts
Motobilt offers the Jeep JK Rear Bolt on D- Ring Mounts. These are the ultimate in strength with a massive 3/4" thick high strength steel plate extending all the way into the frame rail on the rear of the Jeep JK and JK Unlimited. This is the perfect option for those not wanting to run a full rear bumper.
Motobilt is in the business of building quality offroad products. The Jeep JK and JK Unlimited Rear Bolt in Shackle Mounts are an example of this. This shackle mount system is designed for those not wanting to run a rear bumper. The shackle mounts bolt into the rear of the frame rail. They do require trimming the frame rail off flush to the rear cross member. If you ever decide to mount a full bumper the trimming does not remove any vital material from the frame and will allow for change in the future if you decide.
The JK Rear Shackles were designed with strength in mind. The shackle mount features a massive 3/4" thick steel plate that extends all the way into the frame with (2) 3/4" bolts passing all the way through the frame to capture it. The kit is shipped bare metal so you will need to paint or powder coat to the color of your choice. The hardware required to install them is included with the part.
