Throwing codes for Oxgen Sennsor and EGR dieing at low idel part of the time. Have to feather the fule peddle to get her going once in a while. What do you feel the problem could be. Fule Injected 89 5.7 350ci. tug

Could be fuel filter, bu tI would think it would struggle at higher RPM's as well.
Do you still have the Cat on there? That could be the problem. Clogged cat may give it a rich signal to the O2 and high pressure reading on the EGR. May be back pressuring the exhasut as well and stalling.
Pull the battery cable and clear the codes first. Then read them again next time it sets it off. IF you have a Chilton or Haynes, look up that problem in the trouble shooting section.

i was gonna say the same thing as rooster... a clogged cat could be causing a rich reading, causing your injectors to not open properly... and pressurizing the egr as well

Check the fuel pressure. I bet the egr could use a good cleaning too ( always do) ...

What does it do under a strain, Like a good Hill...

Well thanks guys! The old beast has no cat and glass packs on both side sounds great hehehe. The starter had at one time caused me some problems. Seems the thin wire going to the starter selinode would work loose and once loose the whole truck would go dark engin wise. Not turn over not click not nothing. Did this twice or three times over the past few months. I went ahaead and replaced the starter and wa la it all seems better so what the heck. I plan to go ahead and run the codes again tomorow to see what comes up. Right now it is running as strong as ever though. Tough ol bird it is. Thanks for the input. Will do the tune up thing and change air and fule filters as will as plugs wires ect.... Erg cleaning as well. It is good to have friends! tug
