OBA question

RE: Lockers and what

OK, I think is my last oba question before I get to go test it out. Right now I have just about everything installed, except for the pressure switch, which it in the mail. I'm using my bumper as an air tank and have an inline filter between the york compressor and the bumper. My question is though, will I need a draincock on the bumper even if I have a filter? My concern is that a draincock might scrape on something out on the trail.

RE: start-up shreak

id probably install a pressure release valve set at about 150psi just in case your pressure switch malfunctions so you dont have a bad situation occur. this release valve can also serve as a drain valve.

always a good idea if you can tuck it in somewhere safe - even with a water seperator you'll still get some condensation in the tank (my freightliner does...) - without a way to purge it you may end up w/pinholes from rust.... and like odjeep said - use a press. rel. valve to double as a water purge (again thats the setup on my big truck) just my $.02...

RE: I

I would to make sure as little rust as possible forms in there.

It will surely rust out much sooner without a drain at the bottom. Maybe you could build a little guard for it though...

RE: cj7 for sale

So a release valve that doubles as a drain valve sounds like the way to go...One more question though, what size fuse should I use on the compressor clutch?
