The parts are showing up, the garage is clean and it is time to begin the maintenance, updating and upgrading. The transmission was O/H about 30K miles ago and the 4.0L engine is as strong as ever. With 13 years and 150K miles on the clock, here's what is in store:
new cab/body mounts, greaseable shackles, greaseable main eyes, new bushings in track bars and sway bar, 2.5" RE springs with new shocks, seat covers front and rear, 31x10.5R15 ... you get the picture. Basically anything that can wear is being replaced. Project for my son and I so he can learn how to do this on his project.
