It's always been frustrating to use my Jeep TJ's spare jack because of the weird long bars that it used to raise and lower the jack. I ended up grinding down a half inch extension and now it fits perfectly in the hole. I can use a standard socket wrench to raise and lower the the Jeep.
Much easier to use now.
