RE: 3rd time jeep owner...this time i got it right!

but now the transmission won;t come out of gear...it;s just my luck really...it won;t come out of 5th...no mater if the enigine is on or off...or the position of the transfer case...

i have never seen a transmission like this...i can pull the top of it off and get down to a plascit peace...but not to the fork...i son;t understand...

this is startin to get very frustrating...

ive rocked it back and forth...i';ve put it in gear and let the clutch out a little and pulled...the onyl thing i can think of is pullin the transmission out again...i don;t thinki wanna to that really...

i';m about to the point of pushin it the streeat and lettin someon hit it...

i got it...i ust pried the crap out of it near the base...figured it was either gonna work or break it...clutch needs to be bled a bit better thoguh...gotta pump it a little before changin gears...no biggie...

great work! that is certainly quite a project... the only clutch i've replaced (so far...) is a 2wd ford pickup, and that was a BITCH!!! you certainly are no longer a newb in my book, maybe you can help me with my clutch when the time comes! haha
