The clear plastic on my doors is getting pretty ragged, and falling apart, the rest of the canvas is in good condition. I hate the thought of haveing to buy a complete set up,if I can just replace the clear plastic. any advice, appreciated.

The color of your top makes a difference too. I've got khaki colored top, and wasn't able to find the uppers anywhere. I had to buy an entire top to get them.

Looks like I'm gonna have to regroup on the issue, and figure out a way to deal with the windows with out spending 200 dollars. If I come up with an idea I'll let you all know.

If you are really desperate and the upper skins are shot anyway (because they are one piece with the canvas and clear plastic) you might go get a piece of plexiglass cut to the exact shape of the opening with about 1" of overhang all the way around. Then get some snaps and put snaps on the canvas and on the plexiglass and snap them into place from the inside. All that would show on the outside would be snaps. Or get it cut smaller and put a canvas band all the way around and take the old zipper and sow it to the canvas band. Then the plexiglass window would just zip in. It would be stiffer than the clear plastic but might get you out pretty cheap depending on how mechanically inclined you are (or if you can even sow or not). That's what I would try if I was in a pinch and money was tight. Snaps are cheap at wally world and plexiglass is pretty reasonable for a piece that size from your local hardware store. You could probably do the whole thing for around 50 bucks (for both doors not just one). Good luck finding a solution.
