How do? Hey I've got my o.b.a up and running and my Yorkie spews some oil into my lines. I've read on the mod where you take off the head and plugg up the oil journal with a screw. This seems like trouble to me. I am to believe it is there for a reason (to lubricate something) and plugging it up would be a bad thing. Anyone done this before, and have you noticed any heat/damage problems afterwards? Thanks Brad

put an oil filter/return line on the output. It catches the oil and puts it back into the intake side of the compressor.

I've seen such. Does it pipe it back into the compressor intake, or to the crankcase? If it is the intake side, wouldn't the oil problem compound over time. i.e. all of it ending up out of the crankcase, and circulating in and out of the cylindar side possibly causing and hydro lock of sorts? I've thought about the oil separator alot, but with my air manifold already built, I was wanting to avoid adding to/rebuilding part of it. It's not that big of a deal, just trying to avoid it. Brad

I think it may have the line to the case and another from the case back to the intake side for breathing now that I think about it. Been awhile

The return lines go to the fill hole on the side of the crankcase. I wouldn't do it, the oil is foamy and contaminated with moisture. The crankcase would eventually be overfull as it adds moisture to the oil discharge every time it pumps.

I did the oil galley plug and still get some discharge. I'm gonna try to vent the crankcase next, threading a small ceramic filter into one of the oil fill holes. Hopefully this will slow down the oil discharge.

10-4 Where do you come across and ceremic filter that small. Also does the compressor get too hot with the oil galley plugged. Is the front bearing/seal/such getting any oil at all? Thanks
