ZJ V8 Fan and Fan Clutch Swap

Saw this done somewhere and it supposedly helps out quite a bit in the cooling department. Anyone done it, or have any info on it?

WOW. An unawswered post. Dont see too many of those these days. But I guess I should just switch to an electric fan if I am going to go to all the trouble.

May have had better luck in the Cherokee, Wagoneer and Liberty forum ?

What is the reason for wanting to do that? Is it overheating or running hotter than it should?

Well again it just goes back to my cooling problems. And this is to put a ZJ V8 fan into a YJ. So, I figured this forum would be a little better since it is titled CJ, YJ and TJ. Seeing as we might be moving to Vegas soon, I want to make sure this thing stays nice and cool. I am just a little obsessed with cooling performance I guess.

Guess the title threw me off. I hadn't heard of that swap, my bad.

Well I think its just more of an annoyance that anything. Never overheats, and I want to keep it that way. But I think swapping an electric in will be cheaper than doing the whole ZJ swap. I figured the title was a lil goofy.
