The biggest problem with getting more people on this board is there's too many boards!

For example, my main board ia the JK-Forum (because I have a JK). There's also the Rubicon Owner's Forum (again I own a Rubicon).

Then there's the JeepForum for all types of Jeeps.
Then there's the JeepZ forum.
And there's probably more!

And there's a couple of others I frequent often that are not Jeep related, but are OHV related.

I get my best information from the JK-Forum. I like it because it is targeted to the JKs.

It would be awesome if all these could be consolidated into one massive forum, but I don't envision that happening.

The next Spokane Jeep Meet n' Greet is scheduled for Friday, May 20 at 6:30 PM. Location will be the same as the March and April Meet n' Greets - Tony Ferraro's (used to be a ZipTrip) on North Market just north of Euclid (some people refer to that street as Foothills). It's just north of the McDonald's on the opposite of the street from McDonald's.

The organizers said they were going to move it around with the hopes of getting more interest/attendees. Well, I guess that fell through as this will be the 3rd in a row that's met at Tony Ferraro's.

The idea of this group - according to the organizers - was to have a non-club group get together periodically and also schedule some outings. I'm not aware of any outings the group has had.

If you want to have an outing, there are a couple of options:

1. Join the North Idaho Trail Blazers. We are a family oriented 4x4 group. Our trail rides/outings are generally not planned ahead of time. Normally what happens is toward the end of the monthly meeting the president asks who wants to call a run this month. Various folks step up and announce them. Our runs are open to anyone, however, we do not publicize them because we want to keep the number of rigs on each run down to a manageable number. If someone wants to host an outing/trail ride, they only have to come to our monthly meetings. We typically have several trail rides each month, except in the winter when some of the trails are closed or there's too much snow. Our outings are not only in northern Idaho. I know this month there's a group scheduled to go to the Colville NF Memorial Day weekend. And one of our members has set up a run to Tillimook Oregon in early June.

2. Post your outing on a forums - somewhere. Although I'm not sure how well that goes over. I know there was a bunch of JK owners posting outings on the Jeep Forum, but that seems to have died down; haven't seen an outing posted there in quite a while.

That's about all I can offer for runs.

Are you by chance coming out to 7 Mile ORV Area on Sunday May 15th? The park is having a park-wide open house with the hopes of introducing more folks to what the park has to offer. There a 9 areas that will be participating. It starts at 9 AM and will last until 4 PM.

my problem right now is I just sold my YJ and my CJ7 is down in Las Vegas.. I will be going down in August and was thinking of trailering it back up to work on up here.. I have a large shop here, and only a garage there.. much easier to get it up to par.. I'm not sure where 7mile ORV is? and being in a 4X4 Ford PU, might not fit in with the jeepers?.. I am interested in meeting up tho and going on runs when I get my jeep up and taken care of.. appreciate the heads up and look forward to meeting you guys.. wayne

Ownership of a 4x4/Jeep is not a problem. You can come to any Meet 'n Greet and also the North Idaho Trail Blazers. In fact, You are always welcome to ride alongwith me; I generally have an empty passenger seat. The only requirement is that you take pictures and videos!

I'm not sure where 7mile ORV is?
It's on the NW side of Spokane; here's a web page I made about the 7 Mile ORV Area:

Washington State Off Highway Vehicle Map Catalog Home Page - Courtesy of WOHVA

It's part of a state-wide OHV/ORV catalog of places to wheel that WOHVA is building.

and being in a 4X4 Ford PU, might not fit in with the jeepers?

Possibly not, but then again some of the trails in WA and northern ID are quite narrow.

I am interested in meeting up tho and going on runs when I get my jeep up and taken care of

You might want to ride along with me on some of the North Idaho Trail Blazers trail rides to see if your PU would fit. I don't remember what you said you had, but we do have a couple of compact 4x4 (Toyotas) that do very well on the trails.

I'd suggest coming to some our our meetings to find out when/where our future trail rides are and ride along to see if you like what you see.

Or I can pick up up - if you live between where I'm at and Post Falls.

going down to pick up the jeep, have an enclosed trailer now, so... will be back in a month or less.. finally.. also picked up a TH900R transmission w/transfer case while I was back up here this time.. but want to check it out before sticking it in to find out its bad or needs work.. so if there are any transmission specialists in the group that can pass on some knowledge with regards to this, appreciate it.. thanksl. wayne
