3rd brake light gone

I took off the spare mount , brake light, and the rubber stops... now that do I do with the wires ? and do I just put the bolts back in the holes or is there some insider trick to do this for the right look ?

I'm experimenting with my gas mileage (I'm married :shock: and in college) .. try taking out your back seat .. works wonders...

The little plastic piece inside the tailgate comes off and the wires just fall out of there.

What can I do about the screwholes?

I cut and taped the wires and pulled the rubber insert and stuck them inside the door.
