question about tire sizes

I was wondering what a 285/55 is close too in size.. and what a 326/60 is about equal to..are they between a 32 inch tire or bigger?

depends on rim size.... the first number is the width of the tire in mm... the second number is the percentage of that which makes up the distance from the rim to the outer tire... then there will be a third number, which is the rim diameter in inches....
