suspension lift and drive train mods

im installing a rough country lift soon on my yj, i believe its a 3 or 4 inch lift, can i get away with installing 1 inch lift shackles and not doing a SYE or would i definatley have to SYE if i went past the lift kit height

Install a transfer case drop and you should be fine without the shackles. Why do you want the longer shackles?

yeah... a Tcase drop will be fine... if you go too high, the sye will be a necessity... if you go 4" plus 1"shackle... you're pushing SOA range there

I got 4" susp with 1.25" lift shackles... no problems. I do have the t-case drop installed. PM me if you have questions. Check my website for pics.
