UGH, while driving to my g/f's house this evening a car in front of me shot a rock out from under it's tire hitting my windshield. Cracked it pretty damn good. How much am i looking at to have it replaced??? Ive tried to look for prices on the net but came up empty.

  2. Around B'ham you're looking around $300 installed.

CA:2000 black soft top for a Jeep wrangler

i have a cousin that owns a body shop, they can do it, i was just wondering how much the glass was gonna cost. 100 bux sounds a lil steep to me, i mean, its just a flat piece of glass. but if i gotta pay i gotta pay it.

$100 if you call your insurance.

You can get a nice lexan windshield for about $175, one of the jeep mags did a write-up about 2 months ago. They claim 99% the scratch resistance of glass with thier coating.

not JUST glass... its safety glass.... look in a junkyard for an entire windshield assembly.. bolt it on yourself and save some bucks
