Took my gals 93 YJ to the stealership this morning and was told my jerking and bucking problem was fuel supply related and not electrical as I presumed. They charged $70 for this diagnosis and claimed perhaps it was a bad fuel pump. They want 3 Hours labor ($210) to drop the gas tank and inspect/test the fuel pump. Another $330 for the new fuel pump if required bringing the total to $540 plus tax. I found a replacement fuel pump for around $100 (auto zone/advanced auto) and was wondering if anyone can give a lil insite on how hard of a job, special tools if required etc. to install the fuel pump myself. I'd much rather pay $100 than the $540 they quoted if this fix is doable by a back yard mechanic. Thanks, Frank
