Nope, the liberty is the KJ. ZJ's are grand cherokees up to 99....After 99 they are called WJ's....you can tell the difference because the WJ's have a slightly more rounded grill. XJ's are all cherokees. the cherokee/pickup combos from back in the day are J-10 or J-20's.....maybe higher numbers but it is a J-something. [addsig]

I totally agree, some people like the liberties and that's fine, I"m not too impressed with them and I think they were a sad, sad excuse to replace the XJ[addsig]

rose petal,

very through and well presented. where'd you get all that info?[addsig]

I have read a few articles on KJ's off rooad and they seem quite capable, of course it is a jeep. I think they did have a 87 CJ, they were actually left over 86, but because they were at the end of the production year (which is really june of 86, they got badged as a 87. I have encounted this before, I know that there are some 2002 XJ's are accually 2001 models that were left over[addsig]

the cherokee/pickup combos from back in the day are J-10 or J-20's.....maybe higher numbers but it is a J-something.

Nope, the Cherokee/Pickup is the MJ, basically a downsized pickup with a Cherokee unibody, suspension, and drivetrain. The J10, J20, J30, J1000, etc. are all full-size pickups built on solid frames with V8's and full-width axles.[addsig]

Rose Petal?? :-O I amsume you are talking to me, due to my signature. I found that Info by doing a search on google.com.

Sorry, didn't mean to imply anything. Just liked your perception on thorns. So when i see your quote, makes me think.

Kinda like Bluebelle - she's named after my little girl, who gets to name all my rides. I told her, Bluebelle makes me think of that ice cream and some babe in a blue dress holding a basket of fresh dairy products. . . :-O

Always went by 'gearhead' something i was labeled in high school as i was always blowing-up my street rods. (I wasn't very smart - looking back)

Maybe i should change my sig?

I appologize, that sounded as if I was a bit preturbed, didn't it. I was not. I was laughing when I read it.[addsig]

And we can't ever laugh too much, or too hard.

Except maybe when the police are questioning us if we made those ruts in the sand trap and over the 8th green??? :-D
