H hebstang New member Nov 2, 2004 #1 I own a 1981 JC7 with a AMC 20 rear and a 30 dana in front, i was wondering if i can use wrangler rims on my truck. I have to get it to pass inspections and i just want to put some small tires on the truck for inspection. Thanks, hebstang

Green97TJ New member Nov 2, 2004 #2 Im not sure, but I think that the CJ's had a 5x5.5 pattern and wranglers a 5x4.5 pattern. So no, wrangler rims wont fit on a CJ. Nathan

J Junkpile New member Nov 2, 2004 #3 The rims off of a pre-97(?) 1/2ton fullsize Ford will bolt on. Same goes for 1/2ton Dodge rims too, as long as they have the larger hub hole in them.

L laneiac New member Nov 3, 2004 #4 Wrangler rims wont work. CJ's use a 5x5.5, wranglers use a 5x4.5 wheel pattern.
