Flat skid for CJ7

Does anyone have a write up on one of these projects? I got my clocking ring in the mail and want to get started.

I don't have any pics, but it's not hard to build one. Support the weight of the drivetrain somehow in the position you want it to sit in the chassis. Run some square or rectangular tubing from one chassis rail to the other and attach all mounting brackets to the tubing. Then make some skids from 3/16 or 1/4" plate and bolt them in place. Having the skids bolted to a tubular frame makes it where they can be removed for better access to the drivetrain or if you were to damage one, you could easily replace it. Some people use angle iron for the frame, it makes it easier to make any bends you might need. Just notch one leg of the angle and make your bend, then weld the notch back up.

If you are wanting to buy one, I have no idea. I've never even seen an aftermarket one in person. You're lifting the engine and transmission too, right?
