Radiator ?

I'm replacing my radiator and have a few questions:
1) If I put a thicker radiator in for better cooling will I have fan clearance problems?
2) I'm going to do a home 1" body lift soon. I know that the fan shroud will hit the fan when the body is raised, so is it possible to cut the bottom of the shroud off to clear?

I have a one inch on my YJ and didnt have fan shroud issues. Yes you could cut the shroud, it could affect cooling but most likely wont. Clearance problems may be an issue depending on how thick the radiator is, maybe an electric fan would be better with the thick radiator.
