I'm working on a cj5 1978. I have a chance to buy a 1972 cj5 with fiberglass fenders and a v6. Are the fenders interchangable with a 1978? Is there any demand for a 72 v6 or a 81 straight 4? or should I scrap them?

I always see old jeep engines on craigslist. I don't know if they sell, but I would at least try selling them for a while.

I think you are in luck with the fenders, but I am not sure. Check out jeepdoc.com or another parts website for replacement fenders. It will list what range of years they fit.
