Passenger seat will not fold forward...

My passenger seat will not fold forward when I pull the little pull handle. I looked under the seat and cannot tell if a cable was attched to the release lever or not. I can get the seat to fold forward if I move it all the way forward then reach under the seat and push down the release latch. Just wondering if anyone has any insight to this.

ours broke the cable, had to unzip the seat cover to trace it out. my.02

yeah its most likely either the cable or a lubrication issue in the cable, seat, or track
