new brake lines

i put on my 4.5 re lift 2 weeks ago and decided to wait to do the included braided ss flexible lines. i put them on tonight and when i had my old lady push the pedal the fronts leaked fluid at the bajo bolts on the calipers. they only had one copper washer on each caliper but they still leakes. why ? do i need to get another set of copper washers?

are the copper washers on both sides of the line? ,justin

no the stok lines had only one washer on the outside of the fitting. now i think i need to get another set and sandwich the fitting between two copper washers. . . i think

The copper bushing should be between the brake line and the caliper.

Also with new copper you have to snug it real good.

thanks guys i went and got an assorted set of copper washers and doubled up on the front caliper. the whoa pedal is working. and there is a notisable improvement in it too.
