removing t-case skid

whould it be possible for me to remove the tcase skid for a short period of time, and the transmission and t-case wont fall out on me, i ask cuz it seems a whole lot easier to get to the reasr transmission pan bolts to do a filter change if i take the skid off.

That puts a lot of stress on the motor mounts ... just put a jackstand under the output housing on the xfer case. It doesn't take that long to set up and won't get in the way.
