cj full doors vs yj full doors

I know they are interchangeable, but are the CJ full doors more susceptible to rust (e.g. newer = galvanized etc.)?

I'd say the CJ doors would be more prone to rust just do to the fact that the last one rolled of the assembly line 21 years ago. If they aren't rusted out chances are they would at least have the stress cracks near the wings.

There were also two styles of CJ doors that don't interchange due to the lock mechanisms. Pre 81 latched directly to the body and had a "J" handle. 82 and up latched to the striker stud and had a paddle handle. The paddle handle style will work with the YJ.
