Axle question

so if i go with a dana 30 with disc brakes , that should just be an unbolt bolt in from my dana 30 with drum brakes

Should be, if they're both narrow track axles. Don't know about widetracks.

NT and WT axles have the same spring perch and shock locations from 75-85

the only difference might be the pinion yoke. there were two different joints used on the front depending on the engine and year manufactured, might be a 1310 or 1330 joint. you can swap one from the other axle though so no biggy
