leaky windshield frame??

After a good rain there is always a puddle of water on my floor mat. And whenever i start to move it leaks down from under the dash and into my boots. The only place that i can think of that it could be coming from is the windshield frame. Is there any other places that it could be coming from? If so how do i go about fixing it? I thought that if i found the leak, and it was small i could put some silicon on it. I imagine that that would work. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks, Len

my '05 wrangler windsheild leaks too. when i was putting the windsheild sealer along the top of the windsheild under the weatherstripping i could feel what seemed like a big blob of excess sealant right in the top middle and i bet thats where the leak is coming from. the sealant slowed it up but it still leaks sometimes when its raining very hard. gonna have to change to dang windshield to fix it probably. good luck, john
