It tends to be one of the first things people do to their Jeeps. I can honestly say I felt a difference after putting one in my YJ. It may not be much, but for the price it's a good gain.

I think they offer a power improvement but most intakes are very expensive. I think it's a worthwhile mod if you can build one yourself or pick one up pretty inexpensively.

ya like Bounty said if you can make one yourself then do that. I've put one one most of my daily drivers and I've always noticed a difference. They usually help with fuel mileage too from what I've seen

I agree with Steel..check with the manufacturer.You dont want to void any warranties to make a little power diffrence.
