? about idle on 93yj 2.3 manual trans

when i start my jeep the goes up and stays between 2000 and 3000 rpm, i have replaced the tps and idle speed stepper motor and that hasnt helped

Huh? 2.3?, Check for a large Vacuum leak on the intake.

Had the same problem on my 94 yj with a 2.5......I had just replaced the rings head gasket and manifold gasket. ALL vaccumm lines were fine.....ended up being an air leak in the intake manifold.....not a crack just a slight gap. Stethoscope with open hose found it.

Air leak is a vacuum leak, doesn't have to be vacuum lines.
