what shocks

Gonna lift the jeep 3.5 inches, what shocks would be best, or worst so I don't get them.

It's an 04x if it matters

You get what you pay for. Most kits come with shocks anyway. Also depends on what typre of driving you do, on-road or off-road.

Bilstein 5125 are great shocks, but you will need to know compressed and extended lengths when ordering.

How are you lifting it? Are you doing a kit, budget boost, or a combo of budget boost and body lift?

looking at a suspension kit and possibly a 1" body with it

I've got the 2" rubicon express budget boost (comes with shocks) and I like it.

My stock shocks had about 50,000 miles on them, so I'm guessing they were worn (although I never noticed it before). After putting on the RE 2" budget boost my Jeep rode much better.

So, the RE shocks are alot better than my worn stock ones.
