won't restart after running for a few minutes, or after long drives. but it will restart after everthing has cooled down. I have a code p0340. any help would be great.

no cam signal to pcm...no camshaft signal detected during engine cranking.

P0340-No Cam signal at PCM.. This DTC is more likely caused by a faulty CKP(Crankshaft position sensor). Check the connectors at the PCM and CKP sensor as well as the wirings. If you don't see any possible Chaffing or bad connections, replace the Crankshaft position sensor.

I had a similar situation, mine truned out to be the crank position sensor wires got too close to the exhaust manifold, burned some of the wire loom and then it would get hot, melt the insulation and short out, when it would cool down it would start back up. I just spliced in a new section of wire around the bad spot and tied it back up away from the eshaust, problem solved.
