Passenger side to driver side Seat swap?

would a passenger side seat fit on the drivers side railings to mount and use ? I have a torn up ds seat and found a passenger side one that in perfect shape. So just wondering if I could use it thanks for any help

The short answer is yes. I don't know what year Jeep you have but, I just ordered two new seats for my '95 yj and the right and left are the same.

I did just that when I had my 93 YJ. just the front/back adjust lever was on the opposite side of the seat as the original driver side seat was.

I was talking about the seat only, not the frame. Those are definately different!

yup; me too! maybe it wa sthe rear seat back flip lever; its been a few years; but I bolted a pass. side seat to a driver side base; other than that one lever being opposite (to the inside by the console instead of being to the door side of the seat) it worked fine.
