Mounting rock sliders today - any tips?

I'm mounting some Trail Gear rock sliders on my TJ today, the kind that bolt to the body. Anyone have some tips for me?

I read Utah's thread that he use silicone all over to seal between the panel and his Jeep. I'm thinking about using either silicone or some weather stripping between the body and the panel.

I just need to get over drilling into my Jeep for the first time.

I would use silicon.A new sharp drill bit.Before drilling use a center punch to stop the bit from walking.Also if you put some masking tape where your going to drill at,it will help with not scratching any where else.
