restoration

depending on what all body needs to repair and than to paint if you do all your own work you could prob do it for under 1500. thats a ball park since I dont know whats all involved and thats a high ball park
the full restoration on my cj3b so far to date is over 12,000.to date but thats a compleat rebuild from ground up and its still not done but I also use the best parts I can find all my parts are either new or rebuilt and nothing was missed

basicly if you use used parts you could prob do the whole jeep for around 5000.
and get afairly nice jeep out of it if you shop for parts with your budget in mind

there is no Cheap restoration thats done well.

cut cost now, you'll have a even crappier vehicle down the road.

I'm ball parking my restoration around $5K...which should result in another 10-15 years trouble free.

you can do it cheaper if you expect to nickle and dime it later.

Get a NEW radiator cap..............and drive a new jeep underneath it. :p

On Black Betty, when I first got her, I went and found all the botched repairs/mods and fixed them first. Then as things approched wear out or breakage~replacing with top quality replacements. So far about $1500 in.
