Throttle position sensor 4.0l s

Can any one tell me how to check my throttle position sensor ? It seems like when i come up to stop idles high kick gas pedel it will idle down . Pluged it in pulls code po121 tps . Is there a way to ck or just replace it ??????

Not sure on checking the TPS but the IAC controls the idle. If you have the TB off clean it and the IAC ( plunger looking thing) and the channel area. Be sure the butterfly opens and closes easily. Also check the throttle cable be sure it moves smooth and is not pinched or kinked.

P-0121, TPS VOLTAGE DOES NOT AGREE WITH MAP ..Check the connectors on the TPS for corrosion or a partial connection. In a few cases i've seen, a voltage bleed on the clockspring(5V) has caused this DTC to set. With this said, the 2 possibilities are either the TPS or the clockspring. You can check the TPS sweep with a DMM and watch the resistance change in a smooth transition as you move the throttle all the way to a WOT(wide open throttle). If it jumps, the TPS is bad.
