Ok so heres my rant....
I changed the oil on my 97' TJ the other day, the next day it wouldnt start.

so i did some troubleshooting and found no pressure to the fuel rail.
I then proceeded to drop the tank and verify that my pump went bad (overnight apparently), so I put in a new pump and filters, reinstalled tank.

Now I have pressure on the rail, but now I have no spark!

I checked and am not getting spark off the coil.
Most likely culprit: Crank Position Sensor....
ok replaced it. STILL NO SPARK!

Ive been told it could be my coil, so I took the one off my XJ and put it in, still nothing.
got told its distributor, did same thing with dist. off XJ, still nothing.

what am i missing? :???:
Did my PCM go **** up?
is there a fusible link somewhere i am missing?
is there an Auto Shut Down or kill switch im missing?
PLEASE HELP!!!! im at my wits end with this Heep.....

There is an ASD, look for the ASD relay and switch it out with another relay. Also check every fuse under the hood in the PDC.

just found that, swapped it with a relay from my XJ, still nothing.
checked every fuse under hood and dash, all good.
reset PCM by unhooking battery and grounding while switching relays, still nothing.

Diagnostic Trouble Codes? Hook a scanner to the OBDII port or try the key cycle trick to get the DTC's to appear in the odometer window.

There are two of those fuses. Both are related to fueling. I'd check both of them. I had that problem with my TJ and it was a fuse.
