What do you keep in your jeep?

What're some of the basic things you keep in the jeep for long drives?
This is what I keep all the time + a Blanket in winter
*Basic tool Kit like wal-mart sells, a lil bit of everything + a Torx set
*Jumper Cables
*Tire Plug set
*Knife (actually a Jeep Survival knife, it has an array of items inside it)
*Flashlight
*First Aid Kit
*I usually have a small fishing pole and basic tacklebox in case I see an interesting puddle but this is a personal preference

'Betty' keeps a little spare fuel, cargo net, tool kit, safety triangles, farm jack, mini mag light. On trail rides (too far and few between, I gotta join a club) I pack several extras including survival gear.

Some of the above plus, tow and recovery straps, lots of water, drinking and other, CB, Cell, Baby wipes in resealable or zip bag ( from cleaning parts to hands and face). And the wife n kids...

Gotta get my own kit set up soon, replacing clutch soon. Then i'll be back on the road!

Basic break down kit for me in a small ammo can.
Cheap sockets, wrenches screw drivers. Ujoint, Lug studs, Heavy duty Jumper cables under seat along with a 3/8 in 20' chain.

Yaesu FT100D All band ham radio, Galaxy 33 10Meter converted to CB. Ice chest with water. 2 Blankets. US Army 2 man tent. Small army Pick/shovel. Poncho. extra shoes and socks. First aid kit. Hi Lift Jack on front bumper. Jerry Can on rear.

I ussually carry a lot of junk in the Jeep, but it has kept me moving on ocassions where otherwise I would have been towed out more than once, so I stick with my motto... "if it breaks more than once, keep a spare IN the Jeep!"

I have:
  • An LED flashlight with head attachment
  • A regular LED flashlight
  • 2 Halogen flashlights (great visibility, horrible battery life!)
  • Basic tools (ratchet set included)
  • An extra injector rail with FPR (already got me out of trouble!)
  • Extra coil
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Hatchet/hammer
  • blanket
  • Jacket
  • Extra set of brake lines
  • Tow and recovery straps
  • Fire starter kit (flint type)
  • Lots of nylon tie-wraps
  • Whinch equipment (not only remote, but gloves and such)
  • Extra fuses of all kinds
  • Extra lightbulbs
  • Extra plugs and plug cables
  • Tire plug kit
  • Knife
  • Safety triangle
  • HiLift
  • Green slime for tires (I have OBA, so no compressor needed)
  • OBA stuff (hose, and different kinds of plugs)
  • Splice connectors
  • Duct and electrical tapes
  • CB (2 of them, actually; one is handheld)
  • All kinds of chargers (cell phone, GPS, CB, etc.)
  • Tire chains
  • Shamwow (has come in handy more than once!)
That's all I can remember now, but you get the idea... most of this stuff fits in my center console, so you dont really see it, but it's in there!
