Loose YJ Steering

I know the steering in these arent gonna be the best, but mine is just rediculose. Im all over the road, it's almsot like being drunk.
The bushings on the u-joints are old and warn out, I know I got to replace that, but it also seems like something else is contributing to the problem. It has power steering. Any suggestions on the problem and the fix?

fix the issues you know you have, then re-evalutate. you might need a new steering box.

A '95 Wrangler should have pretty tight steering. Have somebody turn the steering wheel back and forth while you inspect the steering linkage closely. You should be able to determine where the play is.

Low tire pressure might be your problem,I had the same problem,tires didnt look low on pressure but when I checked them,one tire was much lower than the rest.aired up and problem solved.
