Gear upgrade?

I have stock front and rear axles on my '04 wrangler x and i want to upgrade the gears to 4.88. Any suggestions?

buy 4.88 gears and put them in??? are you looking for a particular brand suggestion?? if so, never had a problem with yukon or superior.

Depending on what ratio you have now you may have to buy new carriers.

Exactly what suggestion do you need? Brand, install, experience? Not sure what you are looking for, but I am really happy with my 4.88's...

You need to tell us what gears and tire size you have now?
And what tires you plan on running. When all said and done you are talking
$1000. to have a shop do it.

Do this do not drop a dime into a Dana 35. Upgarde the rearend.
8.8 or Dana 44. then add a locker while you have it opened up.
