New or Rebuilt?

Have a 95 yj straight 6 want to be reliable. Can I still find a new motor or is a rebuild just as good? Where can I order either from ? thanks for any info.

Jasper Engines probably has the best rebuilts but they're not cheap.

I put a rebuilt from NAPA in my CJ about 6 years ago...I thought the combination of price,waranty & NAPAs reputation made it a good choice. Jasper Engines may be better,but they're quite a bit more expensive...other manufacturers at the time were either more expensive or had a shorter waranty.
I've been pleased with the engine from NAPA!
