I've seen them all the way up to the 80's, I would assume that is stock.

This VIN didn't come up when I tried the Jeepz VIN decoder, but the book I have shows the following.
24-J2000 Truck 4WD
06-Chassis Cab
W- 5000lb GVWR
1-Left hand drive
1099-Serial #

The style of fenders on the bed weren't available til sometime in the "70s. That & the code for Chassis Cab leads me to belive the fenders &/or bed were added later.(the Thriftside bed available in the "60s had straight sheetmetal fenders).
Hope that helps.

This is the answer I've been looking for! Thank You!

It looks cool, and I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but that bed is DEFINATELY a 1970s Dodge stepside bed.If memory serves me right,I seem to recall a Jeep truck back then that had old-school military Jeep type rear fenders.Pretty sure this is a cobbled-up hack job!

When you say "Chassis Cab" does that mean cab and frame only no bed was on it?

Yes,Chassis Cab means it came from the factory with no bed...usually to a third party supplier who would then put a utility bed or box or whatever on it.
