Visible front turn signal's

Just sharing that after just about being taken out by a Budweiser truck coming home Friday night I installed additional front turn signals on my '93 YJ. My stock ones are practicaly hidden by the winch cover & bumper tubes so I thought I'd try this at least through the dark of winter. I mounted amber double bulb LED lense's on my fender's just about like a TJ & wired them in to the circuit. I waited until dark and looked @ them from across the road tonight, they don't light up the night but there's no mistaking which way I'm turning. Any thoughts about what I did, can I still be in the YJ club even if I disfigured mine in the name of survival? MGD in Bremerton, WA

if you still have the tj hardtop i have a yj hardtop i'd like to trade you. i can haul it up to swap, i live in salem oregon.
