Does anyone know what type of axle the 2002 wrangler se has?

A Dana35 rear axle and a Dana30 front axle. 4.11 gears with the 5spd and 3.73 gears with an automatic transmission.

Wasn't the Dana 44 an option for the rear as well?

The 44 was an option on the six cylinder models, but not the 4 cylinders like the OP has.

How do you know they have a 4 banger, I thought SEs came with a 6 and 4.

SE is a 2.5L, the base 4.0L is the X model.
